GW & Wade is a growing boutique private wealth advisory firm with $10.5 billion of assets under management. We are focused on providing tax and investment management services to high-net-worth clients and we are looking for a Staff Accountant to join our team. We are looking for a hardworking individual who is organized and detail oriented. This position requires exceptional communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic corporate environment.
Responsibilities
Assists with all areas of accounting for one of our subsidiaries by performing the following duties:
Accurately and efficiently preparing financial statements
Maintaining GAAP supporting schedules in Microsoft Excel
Accurately expensing payables to the correct general ledger account and completing bank account reconciliations
Assisting with financial statement audits
Taking on additional projects as needed with a true team player attitude
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:*
An undergraduate business degree in Accounting or Finance
1-3 years of professional experience in an accounting department or in public accounting
The ability to work effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
Solid Microsoft Office experience and good overall computer skills
Experience with MS Dynamics GP (Great Plains) preferred
